Titre: OSX version 0.9.11will not open a sequence
Posté par: Fred Goodman le novembre 09, 2019, 08:01:19 20
Hello.
I opened several tiff images to convert, and create a sequence.
Siril converted and saved the fits files, and saved a sequence, but I kept getting the error "Cannot open the sequence".
This is the first time I have had this error. What are some possible causes of this error.

I don't know. Remove the seq file and reload the sequence.

Hello again lock042.
I tried that, deleted the sequence two times and even started from the beginning.
I also closed the app and started all over again, but still it could not open the sequence.
(???).

make sure that the extension of your FITS files is the same of the one selected in the settings

I solved the issue.
Siril did not like the sequence name with an apostrophe in it (Elephant's Trunk).
When i started over and removed that from the sequence name. it worked.
If this is a bug, maybe you can look into this.

Indeed, it's a really bad idea to use ' in a filename !!
So I've added ' and " as forbiden char: https://gitlab.com/free-astro/siril/commit/9cefe39748b9b8c6d2a8b1f67abfbdebeabbae2e

Thanks
